Joomla Tutorial - Editing Contact Page

Outline

1. Login in to the Administration
2. From the top menu: 'Components' > 'Contacts'
3. Click the name of the contact you would like to edit
4. Edit the fields on this page: (Bold = Required)
   
• Name
• Alias - leave blank this will auto populate
  
• Published = Yes
• Contact's Position
• Email
• Street Address
• Town
• State
• Postal Code
• Country
• Telephone
• Mobile Phone Number
• Fax
• Web URL
• Misc Information
5. On the right side of the page under 'Parameters' > 'Contact Parameters'
• Choose the items you would like to 'Hide' or 'Show'
6. On the right side of the page under 'Parameters' > 'Advanced Parameter'
• Here you can choose if you want the headers of each piece of information to be text or an image. i.e. For Telephone - text= Telephone ; icon= image of a telephone
7. On the right side of the page under 'Parameters' > 'E-mail Parameters'
• If you want people to have the ability to email you directly from this page set the 'Email Form' to 'Show'.
8. Click 'Save' or 'Apply'
