Joomla Tutorial - Entering Meta Information


  1. Login to your administration
  2. From the top menu: 'Site' > 'Global Configuration'
  3. Under the 'Site' tab under section 'Metadata Settings'
  4. In the 'Global Site Meta Description':
    • Provide a brief description of your site
    • limit it to 170 - 200 characters at most
  5. In the 'Global Site Meta Keywords':
    • Insert up to 25 words or phrases, with each word or phrase separated by commas
  6. Click 'Save'
